Last Saturday seen us head down the road to the Six Road Ends just outside Bangor to provide our services for Donagahdee Young Farmers BBQ. It has been a number of years since this event last ran so feelings were running high…but we weren’t disappointed.
We arrived to a team from the club setting up generators, stocking bars and arranging the entrance ahead of the evenings festivities. Once done the rest was over to us!
As per YFC BBQ tradition we stared off the music with a bit of background stuff as the crowds gathered. Once ready to go we played some of the best pop and old skool we could get our hands on…and it didn’t disappoint! For the last hour or so we went cheesy with a hint of country bringing the night up to a climax where we finished up with a rendition of ‘Home Alone’ by Special D. After shouts for “one more tune” we topped the night with Maniac 2000.
All in all we had a blast at our last BBQ of the year! Thanks Donaghadee!
